The Golden Cross retains traditional pub games and actively supports it’s teams.   If you’re looking to get involved in any of these sports, let us know – we’ll gladly introduce you!

Pool: We currently have two pool teams – “The Double Crossers” and “the Golden Shower ” – who compete in the Hereford Charity Pool League.  League matches are played on a Thursday evening.

Darts: A pub wouldn’t be a pub without it’s favourite sport!  The Golden Cross currently has a Men’s team who play on Monday evenings..

Quoits: A dying sport, now only played in Herefordshire and the Welsh borders, this game will certainly challenge your talents!

Football: The Golden Cross is fortunate to play host to Pegasus Colts, who return to the pub on Saturday afternoons after their home matches.
