Sutton St Nicholas is a typical Herefordshire village with a number of beautiful half timbered houses and two Norman churches. It is located four miles north of Hereford.

From Hereford, follow the A465 out of the city centre and down Aylestone Hill. At the bottom of the hill and at the roundabout, take the exit to Sutton St. Nicholas. The Golden Cross is on the crossroads at the centre of the village.
